It’s yet unclear whether a syrupy speech pattern is cosmetic catnip, however in 2021 scientists from the University of California, Irvine and the University of Utah found that this women who speak slowly with well-formed vowels are perceived as more appealing. Interestingly, the same study found than men can get away with mumbling.
