- Conference focused on logical methods in relativity theory
-----
LPS student Sarita Rosenstock, currently in her fourth year of the program, recently spoke at the conference "Logic, Relativity, and Beyond," hosted by the Alfred Renyi Institute of Mathematics at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, in Budapest. Her talk, which was entitled "On Einstein algebras and relativistic spacetimes," presented a result she recently proved concerning the relationship between two philosophically significant approaches to understanding the physics of space and time. Her talk was based on a paper of the same name co-authored with Thomas Barrett, a graduate student at Princeton, and LPS faculty member James Owen Weatherall.
