Guerrero Rosada and Valdivia named 2025–26 UCI Hellman Fellows

CPIP affiliates Paola Guerrero Rosada of the School of Education and Carolina Valdivia of Criminology, Law, and Society have received one of the university’s most prestigious recognitions for early-career faculty. The Hellman Fellowship supports promising junior faculty as they pursue innovative, high-impact research. Professor Guerrero Rosada’s project is “Designing and Implementing a Quality Improvement Intervention for Science, Math, and Literacy in Puerto Rico” and Professor Valdivia’s project is “Family Reunification in the U.S. Post-Deportation.”
