Mark P. Petracca, emeritus professor of political science at the University of California, Irvine writes, “This was a shameful moment in US diplomatic history: An invited guest to the White House, a strategic partner to the United States no less, was ushered out of the White House due to the childish egoism, emotional intemperance, and intellectual ignorance of its current occupant. It’s unimaginable, except when you consider the current political maladies that afflict the White House.”
