- The "Jabberwocky Words in Linguistics" Workshop will be co-hosted by UiB and UMass-Amherst
Language Science postdoctoral fellow Emma Nguyen has been invited to speak at the "Jabberwocky Words in Linguistics" Workshop. The workshop will be co-hosted by the University of Bucharest and the University of Massachusetts, Amherst via Zoom on February 11-12. Her talk is titled "Getting Passive by Extending Classes: A Novel Verb-Learning Study with Adults and Children" which describes her recent work on children and adults' performance on passives of nonce verbs.
