"Politics of Development of the Steel Industry in Iran"
Presentation by Masoud Rafi

Masoud Rafi is a graduate of Bruel University in London and spent forty years working in the Iranian and German steel industries. He held many positions in the course of his career, including those of steel economist and blast furnace technologist. He was responsible for the introduction of new injection technology in India’s steel industry. He also worked as operational consultant at many steel plants in, for example, Taranto (Italy), Lulea (Sweden), CSN (Brazil), Sicarsta (Mexico), Mittal New Castle (South Africa).
