Andrew Noymer of Wen Public Health and a CPIP affiliate discusses hantavirus, saying “I am an alarmist. And I am not alarmed.” … The South American strain of hantavirus isn’t new or novel the way COVID was, Noymer said. … And it’s not as super highly crazy contagious as COVID was. “It just doesn’t have pandemic potential.”
