Megan Peters

Megan Peters is an assistant professor in the University of California, Irvine Department of Cognitive Sciences. ... She is interested in how we make decisions, specifically how we interpret sensory signals that enter our brains through our sensory organs, e.g. the eyes and ears; she also studies how we “metacognitively” evaluate whether we performed well on a task, how we think about our own thoughts, and how that might pertain to our ability to be conscious beings.
