Faith Couts and Hunter Wetzel, a mother and son, share their journey about what it was like going to college together and graduating at the same time. “Well, I went back to school because it was always something I wanted for myself, but the timing was never quite right … I’m a social policy and public service major with an emphasis in education,” said Couts. “And mine is less words – I studied anthropology … I was somewhere in between really proud and happy, kind of for both of us – but also really inspired. Like, I’m watching my Mom graduate from college and it makes me think if she can go back at this age and do that then I can do just about anything,” said Wetzel.
