Michael McBride, UCI economics professor, discusses his game theory-driven baseball metrics that find sometimes, World Series MVP awards don’t go to the rightful winner. “[Ben] Zobrist had a great World Series in 2016, there’s no question. But, Addison Russell had a better World Series. His offensive contributions were more valuable to the four wins in the series,” McBride explains to Mike Flannery, political editor of FOX 32 News, in a segment titled “Shocking New Look at 2016 World Series!”
