Effect of socioeconomic factors during the early COVID-19 pandemic: A spatial analysis

Significant risk factors and areas of increased risk were identified in Orange County and results suggests that social and environmental factors contribute to the spread of COVID-19 within communities, according to a study by corresponding author and recent PhD graduate Ian Tang and faculty mentor Veronica Vieira, PhD, professor and chair of environmental and occupational health.
