Professor Roxanne Varzi will do a reading of her new play about politics, philosophy,
and Iran, Splinters of a Careless Alphabet at AAA featuring Anthropology graduate
students as readers.
In addition, her new film, Tehran Tourist, is premiering at UCI next month in a screening
sponsored by the Jordan Center and the Iranian-American Women’s Foundation.
Professor Varzi also has an article out in this seasons cultural anthropology Hotspots
about the HAU controversy.
