Editors [UCI professor] Bill Maurer and Lana Swartz describe the book as “the catalog for an exhibition that never happened”, and while I can imagine galleries filled with ticket stubs, cancelled cheques and archaic cash machines, the display cases for bitcoin, “Sharing” and “Ether” would probably be far less compelling than these chapters.
