Mexican migration boom coming to an end; more moved from U.S. to Mexico than reverse

From the OC Register:
“Mexico has an aging population, just like the United States,” said Leo Chavez, a
UC Irvine professor who has written on immigration patterns. In Mexico, “young people
have fewer older people to compete with in the labor market and there are fewer younger
people because fertility rates are low.”
