For Saturday’s story I talked with Louis DeSipio, a professor of Chicano/Latino Studies
at the University of California, Irvine. He said: A risk for Castro as a future leader
is that, because the Democrats have usually been short on Latino leaders they have
pulled people up a little too quickly and not let them get seasoned enough.
