- Research by David Neumark, economics Chancellor's Professor and Center for Economics & Public Policy director, is featured on NBC 10 April 13, 2014
From NBC 10:
It's incredible how many studies have been done on minimum wage and how many economists
have taken a look at it. There's so many studies that someone did a study of the studies
to figure out what the general conclusions were. An economist out of the University
of California, Irvine did a study. He found 80% of the studies concluded an adverse
impact on low wage workers when you increase the minimum wage.
