The UC Irvine team features some of the top athletes in the conference and the nation.

UCI senior Jacob Yowell, sociology, has the Big West's top time this season in the 110-meter hurdles (13.91) and he ranks second in the 400-meter hurdles (51.71).

Senior Charles Jock (pictured), urban studies, is second in the 800 meters this season with a time of 1:46.59 and the track world is abuzz about his likely fourth consecutive duel with UC Santa Barbara's Ryan Martin, who has run a conference-leading 1:46.56 this year.

UCI junior Ericka Nowell, art studio, and senior Amber Middleton, sociology, rank 1-2 in the conference this season in the 400-meter hurdles with times of 58.82 and 58.96, respectively. There are many other outstanding student-athletes who will be competing at the championships.  

Championships will be at Anteater Stadium Friday and Saturday (May 11-12). Field events begin at 9:00 a.m. each day with the first track event at 2:00 p.m. both days.

Tickets can purchased at the gate or in advance at the Bren Events Center box office during regular business hours (Monday - Friday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.)
