"Sweet Jail: The Sikhs of Yuba City" is an ethnographic documentary film that explores the early history of a Sikh family from India in Yuba City, Northern California, from the 1920s. Through interviews, photographs, and other activities, the first and second generations of the family discuss arranged marriage, new immigrants who arrived in the 1980s, and other issues.
