Jennifer Lin is an award-winning author, filmmaker, and former journalist who spent over three decades reporting from Beijing, New York, and Washington, D.C. Her debut documentary, Beethoven in Beijing, about the Philadelphia Orchestra’s China legacy, aired nationally on Great Performances. She went on to direct Ten Times Better, exploring race and representation in ballet, and About Face, continuing her focus on Asian American identity and the arts. Lin is also the author of Shanghai Faithful and an oral history companion to Beethoven in Beijing.
