This  event is intended to help us learn more about how Latinx artists are using music, visual art and performance to resist repression, craft new solidarities and empower communities through the featured presentation by ChcLat undergrads: Sayra Contreras’s on “Bad Bunny and the Politics of Cultural Visibility” and Yamilett Fraias Chaidez’s on “Borderlands of Grief and Hope: Latino Artists Reclaiming Space in Southern California under Trump 2025 Regime Violence.”
