RSVP: https://forms.gle/
Join the Long US-China Institute for a dual book launch, featuring two recently-published
books by UCI faculty on contemporary China. The event will showcase Wang Feng's China's Age of Abundance: Origins, Ascendance, and Aftermath (Cambridge University Press) and Ji Li's Negotiating Legality: Chinese Companies in the US Legal System (Cambridge University Press). Both authors will introduce their books and then participate
in a moderated Q&A. Books will be available for purchase and signing. Light refreshments
will be served.

awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship, which he will use to complete a new book on the politics
of policymaking in China, using the case of China’s one-child policy. Read an interview about China's Age of Abundance here.
Ji Li is the John & Marilyn Long Professor of US-China Business and Law at UC Irvine. Professor
