Bill Branch

Professor and Chair of Economics, UCI

Bill Branch is professor of and chair of economics at UCI. He is also a research affiliate of CESifo and the International Network on Expectational Coordination. He serves on editorial boards of several journals that specialize in publishing macroeconomics research. He earned his Ph.D. in economics at the University of Oregon. His research focuses on the role played by private-sector expectations and forecasting in macroeconomic models. He has applied his research to address issues in monetary policy, monetary theory, asset pricing, stock market bubbles and crashes, house prices, unemployment, business cycle dynamics, and macroeconomic forecasting.


Jessica Monge Coria

Senior Outreach Manager, Community Development, Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco

Jessica Monge Coria is currently a senior outreach manager on the community development team at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. Prior to joining the SF Fed, she worked in affordable housing and early care and education focusing on project management, grantmaking and partnership development. Jessica works out of the Los Angeles branch of the SF Fed and is passionate about building a healthy, inclusive and sustainable economy in Southern CA.


Eric Swanson

Professor of Economics, UCI

Eric Swanson studies unconventional monetary policy (particularly forward guidance and large-scale asset purchases by the Fed) and the relationship between financial markets and the macroeconomy. He earned his Ph.D. in economics at Stanford University and has served as a senior economist with the Federal Reserve Board and senior research advisor with the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. In addition to his post as an economics professor at UCI, he is also a research associate with the National Bureau of Economic Research.


Peter Trepp, UCI '88, UCLA Anderson MBA '98

CEO, InnoPath Therapeutics

Peter Trepp is the founder, chairman, and CEO of InnoPath Therapeutics, a biotech company focused on oncology drug development. He is a biotech and software entrepreneur with $1 billion in exits throughout his career. Peter has founded, grown, and successfully exited numerous technology companies, delivering substantial enterprise valuations and favorable returns to shareholders. Before founding InnoPath, Peter served as the CEO of FaceFirst, a globally recognized market leader in facial recognition technology, engaging numerous Fortune 50 clients. He is the author of The New Rules of Consumer Privacy, which discusses how consumer-facing organizations can balance their customers' needs for privacy, security, and convenience. He is a recognized thought leader, media contributor, and lecturer. Peter earned his bachelor's in economics at UC Irvine and his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School. He serves as an ex-officio trustee on the UC Irvine Foundation and is the chairman of the Board of Councilors for the UCI School of Social Sciences.
