Join members of the (Re)Writing Migration Stories project and C-LAB artists-in-residence for an afternoon of activities reflecting on how art can help us explore belonging and imagine liberation for immigration-impacted communities?

1:00-2:15pm Presentation and Panel Discussion
C-LAB artists-in-residence Madai Zamora and Baruck Racine and UCI student members of the (Re)Writing Migration Stories Project Kitana Carbajal Juarez and Breana Figueroa Perez will discuss how they use art to advocate for undocumented, returnee, and deportee communities in the U.S. and Mexico.

2:30-5:00pm Drop-in Zine Making Session
Presenters will briefly discuss the history of zines and how to make them. We will then provide materials for participants to make their own zine about belonging. Drop-in any time.
