After Gay and Lesbian Latinos Unidos (GLLU) formed in 1981, it quickly became the most visible and impactful queer Latinx organization in Southern California. Director Gregorio Davila's documentary film Unidad offers the first in-depth account of GLLU, building on first-hand accounts from GLLU founders, leaders, and participants. A panel discussion with director Davila, producer Mario J. Novoa, and GLLU participants Veronica Flores and Rita Gonzales will follow the screening.
