Madsen is the author, or co-author of 12 books on Chinese culture, American culture, and international relations. He has also written scholarly articles on how to compare cultures and how to facilitate dialogue among them. The webcast with former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will take place from 3:00-3:45 pm, followed by the presentation by Professor Madsen at 4:00 p.m.
