Staged by East West Players, the performance features the story of Tam Tran, a graduating student at UCLA. She and her best friend, Cinthya, are undocumented Americans. Tam has been asked to testify in Washington, D.C. to defend the DREAM Act. She is afraid because she is used to being behind the camera, not in front. But with the help of her friends, her teachers, and her mom she gathers the courage to speak her truth in front of Congress about the right to dream.

The play is based on the real-life story of pioneering undocumented activist, Tam Tran, and sheds light on important piece of history of the Immigrant Youth Movement.
