Testing the Success of Reward Mechanisms in Climate Agreements via Behavioral Experiments
In this talk, Pacheco will investigate the feasibility of Voluntary Reward Mechanisms (VRM) in enhancing Emissions Reductions (ER) by means of behavioral experiments. Experiments employ a multi-period game that incorporates, besides a TPGD involving groups of individuals of different wealth, a new stage in which rich subjects may voluntarily reward poor subjects.
