Join the UCI Center for Citizen Peacebuilding and International Studies Program in an informal conversation and buffet dinner reception with young peacebuilders from Abkhazia, Georgia, and South Ossetia in the South Caucasus. They are visiting UCI for a Distance Learning and Dialogue Conference after having participated this past academic year in online conflict resolution courses.  Their meeting at UCI gives them a rare chance to meet with each other across their divided post Soviet communities, and to learn about U.S. university life and meet with their peers and faculty at UCI. Participants come from Abkhaz State University, The Caucasian House in Tbilisi, Georgia, Tbilisi State University in Georgia, the Georgian Supreme Court, International Black Sea University in Tbilisi, Georgia, South Ossetian State University, and Russian State Social Science University. A participant from each community will discuss their perspective on their conflict and prospects for resolution, to be followed by a discussion with the audience.
