Modes of Being: A Challenge for Free Logic?
In this talk Wimmer wants to determine whether free logic can be applied to questions concerning modes of being. He'll show that this can be a challenge for free logic with standard semantics, and he’ll argue that one has to revise free logic in order to use it to analyze modes of being. Different types of free logic and appropriate semantics will also be discussed.
