Join thousands of alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends on Saturday, Jan. 31, for UC Irvine’s 50^th anniversary homecoming festival. For the first time, Homecoming will be held in Aldrich Park and will have complimentary parking.*

 

2-6 p.m. -- Homecoming Festival in Aldrich Park

Enjoy and explore a fun filled afternoon at UCI! 

• Live entertainment and music
• NEW Anteater Reunion Corner
• NEW signature ‘Anteater Ale,’ a UCI signature golden anniversary beer available at the Hotel Irvine Beer Garden and to be enjoyed while you explore the festival
• Disneyland Resort Family Fun Zone with entertainment for all ages
• Free giveaways, food trucks, special guests, Anteater swag, games and much more.

 

Noon-5:30 p.m. -- NEW! Expoloration Programs

Experience UCI's exciting innovations and activities as your schools welcome you home with showcase programs, lectures and receptions. Take a tour of the new Merage School Building, learn about the newest innovations in medical research, rediscover your passion for the arts, and more. Registration required. Browse our variety of programs!

 

NEW! Anteater Reunion Corner

During the Homecoming festival, reconnect with your friends and classmates from years past in the NEW Anteater Alumni Reunion Corner. Relax in an alumni-only VIP lounge with complimentary specialty refreshments. This is a prime festival location and the perfect place to reminisce on your fond Anteater memories as you take a walk through 50 years of UCI history. 

 

7 p.m. Tip-off -- Men's Basketball Game vs. UC Santa Barbara

Cheer on your 2014 regular season Big West Conference champion men's basketball team as they host UC Santa Barbara at the Bren Events Center. Our Anteaters were picked as the pre-season favorite to win the conference again in 2015.

**Two complimentary alumni game tickets will be available to those who register for homecoming.
