The Department of Logic and Philosophy of Science Colloquium Series presents

"Time (Hole?) Machines"
with John Manchak, Department of Philosophy, University of Washington

Tuesday, April 29, 2014
3:00-5:00 p.m.
Social Science Tower, Room 777 (LPS conference room)

Within the context of general relativity, we consider a type of 'time machine'' and introduce the related 'hole machine'. Manchak concludes that (so far) the hole machine advocate is in a better position than the time machine advocate.
