Thursday, November 7, 2013
5:00-7:00 p.m.

New approaches are needed and daily opportunities are available to promote individual and campus well-being through new narratives about race and culture. Four scholars will present a lively conversation about identities and intergroup relations at UC Irvine. The panelists and audience will use this safe and engaging forum to share their stories, to reflect on current campus issues and to design strategies that foster intergroup respect, communications and collaborations.

• Vice Chancellor Thomas A. Parham, Ph.D., Student Affairs
• Chair James Kyung-Jin Lee, Ph.D., Department of Asian American Studies
• Assistant Professor Ana Rosas, Ph.D., Department of Chicano/Latino Studies
• Director Jared Sexton, Ph.D., Program in African American Studies
