"Sounds for Syria"

UCI Student Center, Crystal Cove Auditorium

The event will feature talks by Maytha Alhassen, USC graduate student and Faisal Attrache, a UCLA alumnus who was in the country when the conflict broke out. There will also be spoken word by members of Uncultivated Rabbits followed by a performance by Omar Offendum, a Syrian hip-hop artist.

A silent auction will be held from 6:00-7:00 p.m. with doors opening at 7:00 p.m.

Tickets will be $5 dollars for students, $10 for non students and can be bought at the door. All proceeds will go to humanitarian aid in Syria.
