Michael Dukakis, former governor of Massachusetts and the 1988 Democratic presidential nominee, will speak on "American Politics and Presidential Campaigning" at 1 p.m. Monday, March 2, in the UC Irvine Humanities Instructional Building 100. Dukakis, a visiting professor at Northeastern University's political science department since 1991, is appearing as a featured speaker in the 2008-09 Peltason Lecture on Democracy, presented by UCI's Center for the Study of Democracy.
