The John I. Yellott Scholar Award is a $3,000 research fellowship awarded to a cognitive sciences graduate student who has not yet advanced to candidacy for the Ph.D. The award is to support the student's summer research activity. Students apply for this award by submitting a brief (one page) description of their proposed summer research, their transcripts, and CV. Applications are usually accepted mid-May and award winners announced are announced at the end of May.
