UC Irvine Political Science Professor Louis Desipio claims the ICE shootings in the US are motivating voters towards a more “moderate immigration enforcement”. Mr. Desipio told Sky News Australia the two recent ICE shootings are “motivating” people to think about their vote in the 2026 midterms. “There is an opportunity for those who seek more moderate immigration enforcement to vote for Democrats.”
