“Democrats are worried that Donald Trump’s second term in the White House will end democracy in the United States as we once knew it. Nearly 90% of them, in fact, think ‘President Trump is a dangerous dictator whose power should be limited before he destroys American democracy.’ Democrats are so concerned about the threat of authoritarian abuses of power under Trump that a sizable plurality of the party now says that civil rights & liberties are the most important issue facing the United States.”
