In recent years, high-profile companies like Tesla and Chevron have moved their headquarters out of California, making headlines and raising concerns about the state’s economic future. Last week, David Neumark, adjunct fellow at PPIC and Distinguished Professor of economics at the University of California, Irvine, presented findings from a new PPIC Economic Policy Center report about headquarter relocations.
