Inmates at Richard Donovan state prison graduate with UC degrees

Fifteen inmates graduated Wednesday with four-year degrees from UC Irvine, part of the university’s LIFTED program, reports NBC 7’s Dana Williams. “I was able to absorb the knowledge and I was able to really just understand that I can do things that I didn’t think I could,” says UC Irvine sociology graduate Joel B.
