US presidential candidates’ age ‘alienating’ younger voters

University of California [Irvine] professor of political science Louis DeSipio says the U.S. presidential candidates’ age is “alienating younger voters.” This comes amid the upcoming U.S. elections where both candidates’ ages are in the spotlight. “We’ve never had two candidates this old. Whichever one is inaugurated, if he serves out his term, will be the oldest president. It’s alienating younger voters and I think they are the electorate that is most the target of both campaigns at this point,” Mr. DeSipio told Sky News Australia.
