OC virus cases continue to grow alongside economic woes [April 16 Coronavirus Update]

Ami Glazer, economics professor at University of California, Irvine, said the economic downturn is not only from the stay home orders, but also people’s reluctance to go to stores and restaurants because of the virus. And it’s going to get worse, he said. “The problem is not just whether people can go to work, but whether people will go shop and spend money.”
