Emerti Professor Karen Leonard, who retired in 2014, is still active in South Asian
studies arenas and was Chair and Discussant for a panel at the Madison
Karen Leonard, who retired in 2014, is still active in South Asian studies arenas
and was Chair and Discussant for a panel at the Madison, Wisconsin, 2018 annual South
Asia meetings on "new women" in 19th and 20th century Hindi and Urdu novels in India.
Also, her many files on actions, organizations, and cases of women at UCI from 1970
to about 2010 have been accepted by the University Library as a Special Collection.
