Barbara Dosher, professor of cognitive sciences at the University of California at
Irvine, is one of two recipients of the Atkinson Prize in Psychological and Cognitive
Sciences. She is recognized for her work on human memory, attention, and learning.
... Etel Solingen, professor of peace studies at the University of California at Irvine,
will receive the William and Katherine Estes Award for pathbreaking work on nuclear
proliferation and reducing the risks of nuclear war.
