"I think he's going to have to honor part of that commitment and then spin the parts
that aren't just going to work," said Louis DeSipio, a professor of political science
and Chicano/Latino studies at the University of California, Irvine. "It wouldn't surprise
me if he sends a bill up to Congress to get an expansion of ICE (Immigration and Customs
Enforcement) or an investment in new technologies. He can call that whatever he wants:
an electronic wall, or a symbolic one."
