- Staff volleyball team posts school's best record in annual summer league
The Social Sciences Spikers had their best season yet in the staff volleyball league, posting a record 3 wins/2 losses as they head into next week’s playoffs. The league - created in 1995 - is open to faculty and staff teams with summer games played during lunch hours in the Anteater Recreation Center. If victorious next week, the Spikers will earn a chance to play for the coveted championship at the annual UCI Staff Picnic to be held August 25 in Aldrich Park.
