Immigrants now fear reform will never pass

"I certainly understand the frustration," said Louis DeSipio, a professor of political
science and Chicano/Latino studies at the University of California-Irvine. "The rhetoric
from the election to a year ago was very positive toward some comprehensive form of
immigration reform."… DeSipio said he believes Congress will eventually pass a major
immigration overhaul.
