A wave of anti-government, anti-tax, anti-incumbency anger is steadily filling the airwaves, blogs and comment boards as the fall election approaches.... Even in a year like 2010, which boasts a lot of genuine anti-incumbent fervor, there aren't many people with the time, money and networking connections to make a serious run at even local offices, according to University of California, Irvine political science professor Louis DeSipio. "It's hard to get that first step out of the door," DeSipio said.
