for “The Right to Remember: Latina Labor Leaders in California Agriculture, 1939-1961
… Ruiz is a Distinguished Professor of History and Chicano/Latino Studies at the University
of California, Irvine and the author, editor, and/or co-editor of several national
award-winning books.
