Following acceptance into the Law Forum, students complete
7 courses (4 required, and 3 electives) to earn a certificate of program completion.
4 Law Forum Required Courses (enrollment
priority available for Law Forum members):
This small, team-based course introduces an array of oral and written
advocacy techniques and involves students in a series of in-class speaking
exercises and team debates.
This course explores the human dynamics behind
the legal system. Topics of discussion include legal
ethics, modern legal education and the evolving roles of lawyers and judges.
This course provides an
opportunity to conduct independent legal research and prepare a written
analysis under instructor supervision. Individual topics vary.

Members of this seminar course rotate
responsibility for presenting on a variety of substantive and professional
topics. Individual responsibility and teamwork are both emphasized.
