Following acceptance into the Law Forum, students complete 7 courses (4 required, and 3 electives) to earn a certificate of program completion.

4 Law Forum Required Courses (enrollment priority available for Law Forum members):

This small, team-based course introduces an array of oral and written advocacy techniques and involves students in a series of in-class speaking exercises and team debates.

This course explores the human dynamics behind the legal system.  Topics of discussion include legal ethics, modern legal education and the evolving roles of lawyers and judges.

This course provides an opportunity to conduct independent legal research and prepare a written analysis under instructor supervision.  Individual topics vary.  [Enrollment priority may not be offered by all instructors.]

  • Law Forum Seminar II  (by invitation only)

Members of this seminar course rotate responsibility for presenting on a variety of substantive and professional topics.  Individual responsibility and teamwork are both emphasized.

*In addition, please see the list of courses available to satisfy the 3 Elective Courses.
