LAW in the 21ST CENTURY

This interactive course explores the human dynamics behind the modern American legal system.  Selected topics include legal ethics, modern legal education  and the evolving roles of lawyers and judges.

COURSE ENROLLMENT INFORMATION:

  • Prerequisite: Completion of "Political Science 71A: Introduction to Law."

  • Enrollment in this course also requires instructor permission (by authorization code).

    • *This course was created to fill a certification requirement in the "Law Forum" program. 

    • Forum members receive enrollment priority.

  • Please contact the instructor prior to the start of the quarter to request a spot in this course (requests are evaluated along several factors).  You may also attend class on the first day to see if any spots are available.

COURSE SUBSTITUTION:

  • Law Forum members may substitute completion of the "SocSci 181A Ethical Leadership" course toward certificate completion.

  • The same enrollment procedures apply.
