LAW in the 21ST CENTURY

This interactive course explores the human dynamics behind the modern American legal system.  Selected topics include legal ethics, modern legal education  and the evolving roles of lawyers and judges. 

COURSE ENROLLMENT INFORMATION:

  • Prerequisite: Completion of "Political Science 71A: Introduction to Law"

  • No priority enrollment is available at this time

  • Watch WebSOC carefully; this course is only offered once each year

  • This is a cross-listed course -- students can register for either:

    • Political Science 171F (Kelley)

    • Social Science 172D (Kelley)

COURSE SUBSTITUTION:

  • Law Forum members may substitute completion of the "SocSci 181A Ethical Leadership (Kelley)" course in place of this course.

  • There is no need for advance approval to make this substitution.
